In 2003, after finishing the 3D Games Design and Development course on PUC University/Rio, José Lucio “SLotman” decided to apply his knowledge on the Brazilian market, and to do so created Icon Games.
With the goal of showing that quality games, with good playability and popular appeal can be made, and using his experience with almost 20 years of game creation in multiple formats (PC, MSX, Sega Genesis, Gameboy Advance, etc) and programming in several languages (C, C++, XNA, Blitz Basic, Visual Basic, Delphi, Pascal, ASM, Clipper, Javascript, J2ME, Brew, Java…), ICON Games establishes itself on the market with it’s recent released products, always looking to produce creative games with unique and innovative themes.
Remembering that graphics and ambientantion are not everything, ICON Games also considers the playability factor and user-game interaction, focusing on a simple control implementation and easy and practical gameplay without having to loose a lot of time reading manuals to have a good time with our games.
That’s why the company focused on the casual gaming market, which keeps growing around the world, thanks to it’s low development costs, and to low final prices, together with fast learning games with very high levels of fun.
